Resolution 020RESOLUTION NO. , OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS WHEREAS, certain property is proposed for annexation to the City of Edmonds, effective and is in need of zoning, and WHEREAS, the public hearing on the proposed zoning of the said property hereinafter described was held on August 17, 1959, after proper notice was given by posting and publication as required by law, and WHEREAS, the zoning of the said property will require an additJon to the official zoning map of Edmonds, Washington, dated Dec. 3, 1957, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the 1:11an_ning Commission of the City of Edmonds hereby recom- mends the adoption of that certain map dated August 17, 1959, file No. , zoning the said property as the same appears on said map, three copies of which map are attached hereto and made a part hereof, and three copies of which map shall be attached to the official zoning plan and official zoning map of the City of Edmonds and made a part thereof. That the property to be so zoned is described as follows: Lot 2, Block 4, Alderwood Manor No. 9, Snohomish County, Wash- ington, according to plat thereof, records of said County'. That the reasons for zoning the addition R-8, residential pur- poses, are as follows: 1. That the zoning of the above described property R-8 is in harmony with the property in areas adjacent to the said property, and like property in the City of Edmonds is zoned residential. 2. That the people who attended the public hearing were in favor of the zoning as recommended by the planning commission. 3. That the said addition, if zoned as recommended, will be in harmony with the comprehensive plan of land use in the City of Edmonds and for logical development of the property in accordance with good planning principles.
