RESOLUTION NO. 209
A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS THE
DENIAL OF PETITION TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP OF SAID CITY BY
DESIGNATING AS "MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL" THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED
IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-27-66.
WHEREAS, the 16th day of November, 1966, at 8:00 p.m., was the date
and time set for public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive
Plan Map of the City of Edmonds by designating as "Multi -Family Residential"
the property legally described as:
Lots 5 and 6, Johnson Garden Tracts, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Volume 17 of Plats, page 33, records of Snohomish County,
Washington; and
WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared
that proper notice and publication had been effected; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, it was
determined that designation of "Multi -Family Residential" on said property
would not be consistent with the most appropriate use of said property in
the interests of good planning as related to the welfare of the citizens of
Edmonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the
Official Comprehensive Plan not be amended as proposed herein.
