OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS
WHEREAS, petition has been made that certain property within
the corporate limits of the City of Edmonds be re -zoned, and
WHEREAS, the public hearing on the proposed rezoning of the
said property hereinafter described was held on August 17, 1959, after
proper notice was given by posting and publication as required by law,
and
WHEREAS, the rezoning of the said property will require an
amendment to the official zoning map of the City of Edmonds, Wash-
ington, dated December 3, 1957,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds hereby
recommends that the following described property:
Lot 3, Block 12, Plat of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington
be rezoned from its present R-5 zoning to a C-1 zoning, and that the
official zoning map of the City of Edmonds be amended to conform to
such rezoning.
That the reasons for re -zoning said property as recommended are:
1. To permit the best possible use and development of the said
property.
2. Adjacent property owners made no protest to the proposed
rezoning.
3. That the said property, if zoned as recommended, will be
in harmony with the comprehensive plan of land use it the City of
Edmonds, for logical development of the property in accordance with
good planning principles.
