Resolution 227• 0 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION N0, 227 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE, SECTION 12.13.110 (F), TO ALLOW PROFESSIONAL OFFICES IN MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS AS A CONDITIONAL USE, AND REMOVING THE LIMITATION OF FLOOR AREA TO 2,000 SQUARE FEET, AS SET FORTH IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. ZO-2-67. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the 15th day of March, 1967, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing on petition to amend the Official Zoning Ordinance, Section 12.13.110 ( F), pertaining to primary uses in Multiple Residential Districts, to read as follows: "F. Professional offices, subject to the grant of a conditional use permit, provided that such office is in harmony with the adjoining residential buildings;" and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of the proposed amendment, it was determined that the restriction to 2,000 sq. feet of floor area for profes- sional buildings is unwarranted and should be removed, and that the size of professional offices should be regulated by the bulk and dimensional require- ments outlined in the RM section of the Ordinance; but that such use should be allowed as a Conditional Use in an RM zone on review by the Board of Adjustment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that Section 12.13.110 (F) of the Official Zoning Ordinance be amended to reas as follows: "Professional offices as a Conditional Use upon review by the Board of Adjustment."
