Chairman, Edmonds Planning ommission Edmonds City Plann r File No.: CP-2-67 Initial request by: Edmonds City Council Recommend: Approval Date of hearing: April 19, 1967 EXHIBIT "A" Findings for Planning Commission File No. CP-2-67 1. The present street system in the subject area is deficient in its continuity and in its right-of-way area. 2. In order to provide a reasonable space for vehicular movement and underground utilities, additional right-of-way width should be established. 3. Washington State Highway Commission standards for pavement and right-of-way widths have been adopted by the City and should be used as a goal in designing the street system for this subject area, 4. The proposal would enable the better coordination of plans which comprise the Comprehensive Plan for the advantageous development of Edmonds. 5. The proposal would assist in the regulation of future buildings by establishing right-of-way lines from which can be measured the necessary front yards.
