Resolution 233PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 233 A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING THE AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF SAID CITY BY INCLUDING THEREIN AND DESIGNATING ON THE LAND USE PLAN THEREOF AS "SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL" THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-6-67 AND ANNEXED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1299. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the Official Comprehensive Plan of said City for including therein and designating on the Land Use Plan thereof as "Single Family Residential" the real property described in Planning Commission File No.. CP-6-67 and annexed by Ordinance No. 1299; and WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be designated "Single Family Residential"; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of said City that recommendation be and the same hereby is made to said City Council that the property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto be included in the Comprehensive Plan and designated "Single Family Residential" on the Land Use Map. The topography on a portion of the undeveloped area under annexation is somewhat difficult and would not promote good quality multi- family or commercial development. The remaining undeveloped portion would provide a poor arrangement between different uses if multi -family or commercial uses were proposed for the area. TYNTRTT IIRn Beginning at the southwest corner of Tract 134, Plat of Meadowdale Beach; thence north along the east city limits line of the City of Edmonds to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Double DD Ranch Addition No. 2; thence easterly along the South boundary of Tract 115 and Tract 114, Plat of Meadowdale Beach and the south end of 64th Avenue West to Olympic View Drive, the westerly boundary line of the City of Lynnwood; thence southwesterly along the westerly city limits line of the City of Lynnwood to its intersection with the south boundary of the Meadowdale Beach Road; thence northwesterly to the north boundary of 174th Street S.W. (the south boundary of Tract 134); thence westerly to the point of beginning.
