DATED as of the 20th day of December, 1967. Edmonds City Planner File No.: CP-9-67 Initial request by: Planning Department Recommend: Approval Date of Hearing: December 20, 1967 Resolution No. 257 EXHIBIT "A" This street is one of the major entrances into Edmonds, and as such deserves special consideration in its design and visual characteristics. Improving the street's visual characteristics requires a slightly widened right-of-way for tree plantings or some other form of entrance treat- ment. Such improvement promotes the City's unique identity to the motoring public and encourages civic spirit. The City has established no boulevards, parkways, or scenic drives of any type, and this is a significant deficiency in planning for a good quality community.
