RESOLUTION NO. 575
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMIVIENDING
APPROVAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING MAP TO ESTABLISH
GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG) ZONING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 220TH
STREET S.W. AND HIGHWAY 99, AS SET FORTH IN FILE ;[AZ-4-77.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing
on a proposal to amend the Zoning Map to establish General Commercial
(CG) Zoning at the southeast corner of 220th Street S.W. and Highway
99; and
WHEREAS, the site has been developed with commercial
uses which conform to the CG Zoning; and
WHEREAS, the CG designation conforms to the existing
Snohomish County General Commercial Zoning on the site; and
WHEREAS, the proposal will not result in any significant
adverse environmental impacts; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends
and forwards to the City Council of said City, that the Official
Zoning Map, as set forth in Exhibits "A" and "B", attached hereto,
be approved.

PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS IN TIC VICINITY OF 220TH STREET
SOUMVEST AND HIGMAY 99:
Beginning at a point on the present city limits of Edmonds, said point
being the northwest corner of the east 1/2 of the, west 1/2 of the southeast
1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of section 29, T 27 N, ME;
thence westerly along the north line of said southeast 1/4 of the northwest
1/4 of the southwest 1/4 projected westerly to its intersection with the
city limits of Edmonds; thence north easterly along said city limits, being
parallel to and 15 feet easterly at right angles to the west margin of P.S.H.
No. 1 to its intersection with the westerly projection of the southerly right
of way of 220th street southwest; thence easterly along said right of way to
its intersection with the westerly right of way of Pacific Northwest Traction
Company, said intersection being the westerly city limits of Mountlake Terrace;
thence southerly along said right of way and city limits line to its intersection
with the city limits of Edmonds; said point being on the north line of the
southeast 1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of said section 29;
thence westerly along said city limits and the north line of the southeast
1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 to the point of beginning.
