The proposal conflicts with the land use portion of the City's
Comprehensive Plan. No similar zoning classification has been
established on the north side of Edmonds Way in the immediate
vicinity. The surrounding properties are almost completely
developed with single family residences. The proposed rezone
could be the beginning of strip apartment zoning along this area
of Edm xds Way.
