RESOLUTION NO. 281
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY BY DESIGNATING
AS MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RML) THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN
PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-7-68.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on
a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of said City for
redesignating the real property described in Planning Commission
File No. R-7-68 from Multiple Residential High Density and Single
Residential 6,000 Sq. Ft. to Multiple Residential Low Density (RML);
and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the real
property described in Exhibit "B" should be redesignated Multiple
Residential Low Density (RML); now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of said City that
recommendation be and the same hereby is made to said City Council
that the property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto be so
designated on said document.

EXHIBIT "A"
This proposal is essentially a minor revision of residential
zones to allow the relocation of a 41-unit apartment from within the
proposed limited access right-of-way of Edmonds Way. The applicant is
willing to accept a lower apartment density on a portion of his property
in exchange for a higher density on another portion. The proposal does
not violate the intent of the Comprehensive Plan.
EXHIBIT "B"
All that portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W.M.,
lying North of Paradise Lane; EXCEPT the West 164.00 feet thereof;
EXCEPT that portion described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the East line of said SW 1/4 NW 1/4
SW 1/4 with the Northerly margin of Paradise Lane; thence N 39005100"
W, along said Northerly margin a distance of 23.30 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing N 39005100" W, a distance of
54.41 feet to the point of curvature of a curve to the left having a
radius of 507.11 feet; thence Northwesterly, along said curve and
consuming a central angle of 3104210911, an arc distance of 280.59
feet; thence N 17029132" E, a distance of 109.76 feet; thence S 610
50100" E, a distance of 140.00 feet; thence S 50000100" E, a distance
of 140.00 feet to intersect a line 15.00 feet West of and parallel
with the East line of the above said subdivision; thence S 0059158" W,
along said parallel line, a distance of 150.00 feet to the True Point
of Beginning.
AND EXCEPT the East 135.00 feet of said SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the
SW 1/4.
