Resolution 6030 • PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 603 A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 520 MAPLE STREET FROM COMMUNITY BUSINESS (BC) TO MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY (RMH) AS SET FORTH IN FILE #R-7-78 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on a proposal to amend the Official Zoning Map to rezone property located at 520 Maple Street from RMH to BC; and WHEREAS, there is a continuing need for residential units in the City of Edmonds; and WHEREAS, additional parking and traffic would be detri- mental to the area; and WHEREAS, changes in the neighborhood do not substantiate a change from the existing multi -family zoning; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission recommends and forwards to the City Council of said City, that the proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be denLisd.
