RESOLUTION NO. 300
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
THE DENIAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID
CITY TO REZONE FROM SINGLE RESIDENTIAL 12,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-12) TO
MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, LOW DENSITY (RML) THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN
PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-19-68.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on
a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of said City to
redesignate the real property described in Planning Commission File
No. R-19-68 from Single Residential 12,000 Square Feet (RS-12) to
Multiple Residential, Low Density (RML); and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the real
property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should not be
redesignated; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of said City that
recommendation be and the same hereby is made to said City Council
that the proposed amendment be denied.

EXHIBIT "A"
The proposal does not constitute a logical extension of the apartment
zoning. A large area of RILL zoning has, been established on 196th St. S.W.
and to date very little of this area has been developed with apartments.

The Northerly 119 feet, more or less, of the following described
property:
The West 136 feet of the Bast 1/2, Southeast 1/4, Southeast 1/4,
Southwest 1/4 of Section 18, Township 27, Range 4 East, W.M., LESS
road and LESS the North 210 feet thereof.
