EXHIBIT "A"
88th Avenue West is classified as a "Community Arterial" and
is presently unopened south of 202nd Street S. W. Because of the low
degree of development along this route, it is possible for the City
to achieve the desirable, not minimum, right-of-way width for this
street before plats, subdivisions, and homes are developed along its
length. Since projected traffic volumes fall within a range normally
carried by a Collector street, it is believed that the standard 44-foot
pavement width could reasonably be reduced to 40 feet. The desirable
right-of-way width for a 40-foot pavement, according to City adopted
standards, is 66 feet.
