RESOLUTION NO. 303
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY BY DESIGNATING
AS MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, LOW DENSITY (RML) THAT PROPERTY PRESENTLY
ZONED SINGLE RESIDENTIAL 8,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-8) AND LEGALLY DESCRIBED
IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-21-68.

WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on
a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of said City for
redesignating the real property described in Planning Commission
File No. R-21-68 from Single Residential 8,000 Square Feet (RS-8)
to Multiple Residential, Low Density (RML); and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the real
property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be designated
Multiple Residential Low Density (RML): Be it
RESOLVED That recommendation be and the same hereby is made
to the City Council of the City of Edmonds that the property described
in Exhibit "B" attached hereto be so designated on said document.

EXHIBIT "A"
Business zoning has been established on the south side of this
property in the city of Lynnwood and on the east side of 76th Ave. W.,
also in Lynnwood. The zoning to the west of the property is RML and
on the north side of 195th St. S. W. the zoning is RS-8. The site
lies within 100 feet of 196th Street S.W., and the City has established
a band of apartment zoning 300 feet deep generally along this street.
EXHIBIT "B"
Lots 1 through 7 inclusive, Block 1, Park Addition to Edmonds, according
to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, Page 88, records of
Snohomish County, Washington; TOGETHER with that portion of the East
25 feet of vacated 77th Avenue West (Central Street) adjoining Lot 7.
