A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP OF SAID CITY REVISING THE ALIGNMENT
OF A LOOP STREET ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE 1374 BY RELOCATING THE NORTH -
SOUTH LEG ABOUT 88 FEET ± TO THE EAST AND BY DELETING ALL BUT THE WEST
310 FEET OF THE SOUTH LEG OF THE LOOP, AS SET FORTH IN PLANNING COMMISSION

WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, J
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on a
proposal to amend the Official Street Map of said City by revising the
alignment of a loop street established by Ordinance 1374; and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the Official
Street Map should be amended by relocating 88 feet ± eastward the
north -south leg of the loop street established by Ordinance No. 1374,
and terminating this leg approximately 228 feet south of the center-
line of the north leg, by deleting all but the west 310 feet of the
south leg as measured along the centerline from the east margin of
3rd Avenue North, and by establishing a turn -around on the west side
of the north -south leg 152 feet south of the centerline of the north
• leg, all as depicted in Exhibit "B" attached hereto: Now be it
RESOLVED, That recommendation be and the same hereby is made
to the City Council of the City of Edmonds that the Official Street
Map of said City be so amended.

EXHIBIT "A"
The proposed street is needed to serve a number of deep
lots on the east side of 3rd Ave. No. and on the west side of
7th Ave. No. It will provide a better quality of access to
the rear portions of these lots than numerous dead-end ease-
ments which would be required if no street were established.
