Resolution 607• 0 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 607 A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMOND RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZON CODE SECTION 12.13.190 TO CHANGE THE PERMITTED MULTIPL: RESIDENTIAL DENSITY IN THE BC ZONE FROM RML AND RMH DE: TO RM-D DENSITY AS SET FORTH IN FILE #ZO-10-78 WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Ed pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a publ hearing on a proposal to amend the Zoning Code Section 12.13.190 to change the permitted multiple residential density in the BC Zone from RML and RMH densities to Ri density; and WHEREAS commercial buildings in the BC Zone are permitted with no setbacks and with a height of 35 feet; and WHEREAS the height of multiple unit residential buildings should be regulated the same as adjacent commercial buildings; and WHEREAS the overallgainto the public by developing the BC Zone with low density, low rise RM-D buildings next to 35' high commercial buildings will be minimal; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends and forwards to the City Council of said City, that the pro- posed amendment to the Zoning Code as set forth in File ZO-10-78 be denied.
