RESOLUTION N0. 609
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO USE EXISTING PARSONAGE FOR
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES AND OTHER YOUTH RELATED ACTIVITIES AT 210 SIXTH
AVENUE NORTH AS SET FORTH IN FILE #CU-49-78
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on
a proposal to grant a Conditional Use Permit to the Church of the
Open Bible; and
WHEREAS, the proposed use is in harmony and compatible
with the public uses nearby; and
WHEREAS, adjacent property is owned by the Church and no
screening appears necessary; and
WHEREAS, access is readily available for auto and pedestrian
traffic; and
WHEREAS, there is a finding of no significant adverse
environmental impact on the proposal; and
WHEREAS, such action is consistent with the promotion of
public health, safety, and general welfare; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission recommends
and forwards to the City Council of said City, that the proposed
Conditional Use Permit as set forth in File #CU-49-78 be approved.
