Resolution 308PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 308 A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP OF SAID CITY ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY, THE CENTERLINE OF WHICH LIES ALONG A LINE 200 FEET NORTH OF AND PARALLEL TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 27 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST, W. M., SAID CENTERLINE TO EXTEND 310 FEET WEST FROM THE WEST MARGIN OF 8TH AVENUE SOUTH AND HAVE A RIGHT-OF-WAY WIDTH OF 50 FEET, AS SET FORTH IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. ST-7-68. WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on a proposal to amend the Official Street Map of said city by establishing a public street system which would involve the extension of Birch Street from 7th Avenue South to 8th Avenue South, with a short, southwestward projection from same to serve adjoining properties; and WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit 11A" attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the establish- ment of Birch Street from 7th Avenue to 8th Avenue is not needed at this time, but that the Official Street Map should be amended by establishing a public right-of-way with the centerline lying along a line 200 feet North of and parallel to the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 25, Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M., said centerline to extend 310 feet west from the west margin of 8th Avenue South and have a right-of-way width of 50 feet: Now be it RESOLVED, That recommendation be and the same hereby is made to the City Council of the City of Edmonds that the Official Street Map of said City be so amended.
