RESOLUTION NO. 310
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
THE APPROVAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
SAID CITY TO REZONE FROM MULTIPLE RESIDENCE, LOW DENSITY (RML) TO
NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS (BN) THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING
COMMISSION FILE N0. R-1-69.
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on
a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of said City to
redesignate the real property described in Planning Commission File
No. R-1-69 from Multiple Residence, Low Density to Neighborhood
Business (BN); and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the real
property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be redesignated:

RESOLVED, That recommendation be and the same hereby is
made to the City Council of the City of Edmonds that the proposed
amendment be approved.

The subject property does not provide a particularly good
apartment site. It is surrounded on two sides by business development and
access to the property is via a 20' easement through the Burger Chef property.
The property is isolated from adjoining residential homes by the steep hill
to the east.

That parcel of land described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 14, according to the Plat of
Bergquist Addn., as recorded in Volume 15 of plats, page 105, records of
Snohomish County, Washington; thence south 0030'24" East 149.93 feet to
true point of beginning; thence north 89051'23" West 151.81 feet; thence
south 0019'44" East 149.93 feet; thence south 89051123" east to the west line
of Lot 12, Bergquist addition%; thence northerly along the west line of Lots
12 and 13 to the True Point of Beginning.
