RESOLUTION NO. 619
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN A24ENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL
STREET MAP TO REMOVE A PROPOSED STREET EXTENSION OF
175TH STREET S.W., TRACT 141, AS SET FORTH IN FILE # ST-7-79
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held
a public hearing on a proposal to remove from the Official
Street Map a proposed street extension of 175th Street S.W.;
and
WHEREAS, the applicants agreed to deed to the City a
15 foot utility easement to be described by the City Engineering
Division generally running from the eastern terminus of
175th Street S.W., west to 76th Avenue West; and
WHEREAS, this action shall not landlock or preclude
future access to any properties; and
WHEREAS, there has been a finding of no significant
environmental impacts due to this action; and
WHEREAS, said amendment appears to be in the best
interest of the public health, safety and general welfare of
the community; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission recommends
and forwards to the City Council of said City, that the proposed
amendment to the Official Street Maps as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be approved.
