RESOLUTION NO. 317
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
THE AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AND THE COMPREHENSIVE
THOROUGHFARE PLAN OF SAID CITY BY ESTABLISHING LAND USE AND THOROUGH-
FARE DESIGNATIONS ON THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY LYING
SOUTH OF THE SAID CITY, WEST OF U. S. 99 EXCLUDING THE UNINCORPORATED
AREA OF WELLS POINT, AS SET FORTH IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO.
CP-1-69.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing to
amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the Comprehensive Thorough-
fare Plan of the said City to designate the real property described in
Planning Commission File No. CP-1-69;.and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, the.Planning Commission determined that the real
property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be designated
as indicated on a supporting document entitled, "Proposed Comprehensive
Plan"; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of said City that
recommendation be and the same hereby is made to said City Council
that the proposed amendment be approved.

EXHIBIT '.'A"
The.proposed Comprehensive.Plan Amendment was developed with
adequate consideration of existing land use,.existing zoning,
Topography., traffic, past planning for the area, and other
aspects of community development. No-one spoke in opposition
to the.proposal at the'Commission hearing. The.proposal is
coordinated with the 8omprehensive:Plan for the City of Edmonds
and other jurisdictions surrounding the.subject area.

The.realpproperty involved'.in the.Comprehensive.Plan amend-
ment is all the unincorporated area of Snohomish County lying
south of Edmonds and west of U. S. Highway No. 99, excluding
the.unincorporated area.known as Wells Point.
