RESOLUTION NO. 326
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
THE DENIAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT.TO.THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP OF SAID
CITY TO REMOVE THE PROPOSED 20' WIDENING.ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ERBEN
DRIVE EAST OF THE NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY LYING EAST OF 4TH AVENUE, AS SET
FORTH IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. ST--1-69.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on
a proposal to amend the Official Street Map of the.City of Edmonds
by removing the proposed 20' widening on the south side of Erben
Drive east of the north -south alley lying east of 4th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that such
amendment should not be made; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of said City
that recommendation be and the same hereby is made to said City
Council that the proposed amendment to the Official Street Plan be
denied.

EXHIBIT "A"
The proposed widening of Erben Drive east of 4th Avenue
South is needed to restore the street to its original
40 foot width.. With the development of apartments along
5th Avenue South, additional street facilities are needed
to handle the increased traffic generated by the apart-
ments.
