F'SINT'RTT If Alt
Neighboring residents objected'to the proposal
on the'.basis that _ among other reasons _ their
privacy would be. invaded'. 'Also, the'. City has
established about 2$'.5 acres.of apartment zoning
in this atea'of'the'community and at present only
4.7 acres haire actually been' developed' with apart-
ments, while 14.7 acres'are still vacant. There-'
fore it appears that the.City has made generous
provision'for'apartment development.''
In addition, 'the.City has been'following the.
policy of'discoui-+aging the.expansion of multi-
family zoning along,U.',S. 99.and in other areas
of'the.City.
