RESOLUTION NO. 401
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMEND-
ING APPROVAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
SAID CITY TO REZONE FROM MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, LOW DENSITY (RML)
TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG) THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN PLANNING
COMMISSION FILE R-7-72.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public
hearing on a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map of said
City to redesignate certain real property from Multiple Residential,
Low Density (RML) to General Commercial (CG), and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the
real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be
redesignated; now, therefore,
BE tT RESOLVED that recommendation be and the same
hereby is made to the City Council of the City of Edmonds that the
proposed amendment be approved.

The Planning Commission found that this proposal would actually be
an upgrading of the property in question. It was also found that
where a zoning line is arbitrarily drawn through one owner's pro-
perty there should be some recourse.

Description of property to be zoned CG:
Beginning at the N.E. corner of Section 31-27-4E,
thence west 30 ft., thence south 30 ft. to the
true point of beginning, thence south on westerly
right-of-way line of 76th Ave. West 122.6 ft.,
thence west parallel to the.northerly line of said
section 31-27-4E 300 ft., thence north parallel to
said easterly line 87 ft. thence northeasterly on
US99.right-of-way line a distance of 40 ft. to
north-westerly corner of this description, thence
east 285 ft. to the true point of beginning. Ex-
cept the West half.
