"EXHIBIT A"
It was the.finding of the Planning Commission that the.designation of
General Commercial would not allow the use of the property for a Nurs-
ing Home and apartments for the elderly as requested by the applicant,
but that it would be allowed in a Multiple Residential High Density
zone and is more in line with the proper use of land surrounding the
hospital than General Commercial zoning will allow, and that there is
an existing need in the community for zoning of this nature. That this
zoning provides a buffer between the General Commercial zoning on
Highway 99.and the hospital. That the proposed zoning would not be
detrimental to.the general public health and welfare.
