RESOLUTION NO. 413
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMEND-
ING THAT CERTAIN PROPERTIES DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE
NO. AZ-1-73, RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND ZONED BY
THE COUNTY AS RR-8400, BE REZONED TO RS-8, SINGLE RESIDENTIAL 8,000
SQUARE FEET.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public -
hearing to establish City zoning classification on the real property
described in Planning Commission File No. AZ-1-73 recently annexed
to the City by Ordinance Number 1666; and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that
the real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be
rezoned from County Rural Residential 8400, (RR 8400) to Edmonds
Single Residential 8,000 Square Feet (RS-8); now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that recommendation be and the same
hereby is made to said City Council that the proposed zoning classi-
fication be approved.

The subject property is bounded by City of Edmonds Single Residential
8,000 square feet (RS-8) and Multi -family Residential Low Density (RML).
It is the Commission's belief that RS-8 zoning is in keeping with the
RR 8400 zoning in the County and in the best interest of the residents
of the recently annexed area.

That portion of Section 30, T27N, R4E, W.M. described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south R/W line of 220th St. S.W., said
point being 60.00 feet southerly of the southwest corner of Lot 1,
plat of Donny Glen; thence north along the west line of said plat
projected to the north R/W line of 218th St. S.W. and the existing
city limits line of the City of Edmonds; thence continuing along the
existing city limits line for the following courses and distances:
thence east to the southeast corner of Lot 5, plat of Cherry Lane;
thence northerly along the east line of the plat of Cherry Lane and
the northerly prolongation thereof to the southeast corner of the plat
of Anderson Park; thence continue north, along the east line of Ander-
