RESOLUTION NO. 429
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDF40NDS RECOMMEND-
Iq Q THAT CERTAIN PROPERTIES DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE
NO. AZ-5-73, BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND ZONED BY
THE COUNTY AS RR-9600, BE REZONED TO RS-8, SINGLE RESIDENTIAL,
8,000 SQUARE FEET.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and Publication, held a public hearing
to establish City zoning classification on the real property des-
cribed in Planning Commission File No. AZ-5-73, being annexed to
the City, and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, the Planning Commission determined that the
real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto should be
rezoned from County Single Residential, RR-9600 to Edmonds Single
Residential, RS-8, 8,000 square feet; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that recommendation be and the same
hereby is made to said City Council that the proposed zoning
classification be approved.

The subject property is bounded by Single Residential and Multi-
family residential. It is the Commission's belief that R5-8
zoning is in keeping with the RR-9600 zoning in the County and
in the best interest of the residents and property owners of
the area being annexed.
