RESOLUTION NO. 445
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTIES DESCRIBED IN PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. AZ-
1-74, BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND ZONED BY THE COUNTY AS
(GC), BE REZONED TO EDMONDS !GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing to
establish City zoning classification on the real property described
in Planning Comission File No. AZ-1-74, being annex to the City, and
WHEREAS, having made the findings set forth in "Exhibit A"
attached hereto, the Planning Comission determined that the real
property described in "Exhibit El", attached hereto, should be rezoned
from County (0 to Edmon4s General Co rcial (CG); now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED. that the Planning Cormission recommends and
forwards to the City Council of the City of Edmonds that the proposed
zoning classification be approved.

Planning Corrr+ission findings indicate that the City has followed a policy of
zoning annexed property under the Edmonds Code, comparable to County Zoning,
and the citizens within the proposed annexed area have indicated their desire
that the land use regulations remain comvarable to those of the County. Tile
property is presently zoned = C in tie Woar�ty. portion of the area is
indicated as `!u1ti-Fas<<i1y Residential oil the Cor^prehensive Plan. The area
across the street on 212t11 is dln_ i gnat-_:! Cor:V.4rrial. It is therefore recom-
mended that the Property described in 11Lx31bi t V be rezoned from County 00
to E&ionds general Co.:�nercial (rr).
