RESOLUTION NO. 477
A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL STREET STANDARDS OF
CITY, SECTION 7.01.020 DESIGN STANDARDS ADOPTED, AS SET FORTH IN PLANNING
COMMISSION FILE NO. ST-7-75.
WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the city of Edmonds,
pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a public hearing on a
proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Ordinance, Section 7.01.020
Design Standards Adopted; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for flexibility in Street
Standards to meet varied conditions of site development which preserve
the natural characteristics of the City, and
WHEREAS, the impact of drainage may be mitigated by
reducing the amount of impervious surface created by streets to a
minimum, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to develop and adopt standards
acceptable to the community, it was determined by the Planning Commission
that the proposed amendment to the Official Street Standards should be
adopted, as set forth in "EXHIBIT A" to "EXHIBIT J" attached; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends and
forwards to the City Council of the City of Edmonds, that the proposed
amendment to the Official Street Standards as set forth in "Exhibit A" to
"Exhibit J" attached, be adopted
