Resolution 006RESOLUTION NO. 6 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS WHEREAS, CERTAIN property recently annexed to the City of Edmonds is in need of zoning, and WHEREAS, the public hearing on the proposed zoning of said property, hereinafter identified was held on January 6, 1958 after properi-notice was given by posting and publication as required by law, and WHEREAS, the zoning of said property will require an addition to the official zoning map of Edmonds, Washington, dated December 3, 195$. THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds hereby recommends the adoption of that certain map dated January 8, 1958,(File No. 8.12), three copies of which are hereto attached and made a part hereof, and three copies of which shall be attached to the official zoning plan and made a part thereof. THAT the reason for the addition as recommended are as follows: 1. That the property identified on the said map is largely resi- dentail except for a small strip lying just northerly of 196th Avenue S. W. which is now largely developed as a commercial area. 2. That the people who attended the public hearing for the proposed zoning of the said addition to the City of Edmonds were all in favor of the zoning as recommended by the Planning Commission on the said maps hereto attached. 3. That the said addition, if zoned as recommended, will be in harmony with the comprehensive plan of land use in the City of Edmonds. DATED this 7th day of January, 1958 Respectfully submitted, PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS. Sproule McGinness, Chairman ATTEST • J
