Resolution 008RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, certain property is proposed to be annexed to the City of Edmonds and is in need of zoning, and WHEREAS, the public hearing on the proposed zoning of the said property, hereinafter identified, was held on October 20, 1958, after proper notice was given by posting and publication as required by law, and WHEREAS, the zoning of the said property will require an addition to the official zoning map of Edmonds, Washington, dated December 3, 1957, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds hereby recommends the adoption of that certain map, dated October 20, 1958, File No. 8. 29, zoning the said property as R-8, three copies of which map are hereto attached and made a part hereof, and three copies of which map shall be attached to the official zoning plan and official zoning map of the City of Edmonds and made a part thereof. That the property to be so zoned is described as follows: Beginning at a point 869. 50 feet west of the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section 30, township 27 north, range 4 east, W. M. , said point being on the existing City Limits boundary, thence south 326. 5 feet, to the northwest corner of the plat of Cherry Lane, according to the recorded plat thereof; thence east 434. 69 feet to the northeast corner of the said plat of Cherry Lane; thence north 326. 5 feet; thence west 434. 75 feet, to the point of beginning; together with Lot 1, Plat of Cherry Lane, according to plat thereof, records of Snohomish County, Washington; situate in Snohomish County, State of Washington. That the reasons for zoning the addition as recommended are as follows: 1. That the property identified on said map is all residential and all of the property in the adjacent area which is already in the City of Edmonds is zoned residential. 2. That the people who attended the public hearing for the proposed zoning of the said addition to the City of Edmonds were all in favor of the zoning as recom- mended by the Planning Commission on the said maps hereto attached. 3. That the said addition, if zoned as recommended, will be in harmony with the comprehensive plan of land use in the City of Edmonds and the comprehensive plan of land use in the area to be annexed. WHEREAS, certain property is proposed to be annexed to the City of Edmonds and is in need of zoning, and WHEREAS, the public hearing on the proposed zoning of the said property, hereinafter identified, was held on Flay 19, 1958, after proper notice was given by posting and publication as required by law, and WHEREAS, the zoning of the said property Vill require an addi- tion to the official zoning map of Edmonds, Washington, datedf�` NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds hereby recommends the adoption of that certain map, dated May 20, 1958, File No. zoning the said property as R-8, three copies of which map are hereto attached and made a part hereof, and three copies of which map shall be attached to the official zoning plan and official zoning map of the City of Edmonds and made a part thereof. That the property to be so zoned is described as follows: Tracts 1, 2, and the West 224 feet of the North 302 feet of Tract 16, Fourtner's Homestead Plat, according to the plat thereof, recorded in volume 1 of plats, page 97, records of Snohomish County, including 220th St. S.W., 100th Ave. W. and 98th Ave. W. adjacent thereto, situate in Snohomish County, State of Washington. That the reasons for zoning the addition as recommended are as follows: 1.
