Resolution 087RESOLUTION NO. 87 Planning Commission File No. R-12i�63 WHEREAS, the 16th day of September, 1963, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from R-6 to R-6A property commonly known as the area between 5th and 6th Avenues immediately North of Elm, and legally described as: The East 180.00 feet of the following described tract: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter, North- west quarter of Section 25, T27N, Range 3 East, W.M.; thence North 003910011W 377.85 feet; thence North 8903810911E 262.00 feet; thence North 003910011W 80.36 feet; thence North 89038/09/1 E 68.00 feet; thence South 003910011E 458 feet more or less to the south line of the said Southwest quarter, Northwest quarter; thence South 8904214511W 330.00 feet to the point of beginning, EXCEPT that portion now zoned R-6A. AND WHEREAS, this is the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area, and it appearing that proper notice and publication have been effected, AND WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and sur- rounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of R-6A, Multiple Family Residential, is the most consistent with the proper develop - meet and use of said property and the general welfare of the public, NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds recommend to the City Council of said City that the above described property be zoned R-6A and that the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds be so amended.
