Resolution 088RESOLUTION NO. 88 WHEREAS, the 16th day of September, 1963, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds by establishing a 50-foot right-of-way on Laurel Street from 13th Avenue easterly to Laurel Way, as shown on the Comprehensive Plan, and legally described as: A strip of land, 50.00 feet in width and lying 25.00 feet on either side of and adjacent to the following described centerline: Beginning at a point on the East line of Lot 3, Block 7, Alderwood Manor No. 9, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, on page 6, Records of Snohomish County, Washington, which point lies North 210.10 feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence N 67016108"W, 10.47 feet to the point of curve of a curve to the left having a radius of 147.59 feet; thence Westerly, along the arc of said curve to the left and consuming a central angle of 5004215411, an arc distance of 130.40 feet to the point of tangency of said curve to the left; thence S 6200015811W, 83.70 feet to an intersection with the West line of said Lot 3 at a point which is North, 169.08 feet from the Southwest corner of said Lot 3, said intersection being the terminus of the centerline herein described. AND WHEREAS, this is the time and date fixed for said public hearing, and it appearing that proper notice and publication have been effected, AND WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future neighborhood conditions, it appears that establishment of said right-of-way is the most consistent with the proper use and development of the area and the general welfare of the public, NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds recommend to the City Council of said City that the said 50-foot right-of-way on Laurel Street from 13th Avenue easterly to Laurel Way be established, and that the Comprehensive Street Plan of the City of Edmonds be so amended.
