Resolution 096RESOLUTION NO. 96 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF OFFICIAL MAP "A" (DESIGNATED THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) AND OFFICIAL MAP "B" (DESIGNATED THE ZONING MAP) OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-8 (ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R-C (RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. R-18-63. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WHEREAS the 15th day of January, 1964, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Zoning Code and Official Maps of the City of Edmonds by rezoning from R-8 (One Family Residential) to R-C (Restricted Commercial) property commonly known as 7553 - 228th S.W., and legally described as: Lot 1, Luschen Addition No. 4; and WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing to consider rezoning of said area, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, it appears that zoning classification of R-C, Restricted Commercial, is the most consistent with the advantageous development and appropriate use of said property and the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that the above described property be zoned R-C and that Official Map "A" (designated the Comprehensive Plan) of the City of Edmonds be so amended by adding thereto Engineer's Drawing No. 3 ; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that Official Map "B" (designated Zoning Map) of the City of Edmonds be so amended by adding thereto Engineer's Drawing No. 8 -� DATED this f day of January, 1964. 011�\ Chairafffn, Planning Commission
