Resolution 099RESOLUTION NO. 99 A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE AMENDMENT OF OFFICIAL MAP "A" (DESIGNATED THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) AND OFFICIAL MAP "B" (DESIGNATED THE ZONING MAP) OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY ADDING THERETO CERTAIN PROPERTY, NEWLY ANNEXED, AND ZONING SAID PROPERTY P-1, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION FILE NO. CP-4-64. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS certain property hereinafter legally described has been annexed to the City of Edmonds; and WHEREAS the 15th day of April, 1964, at 8:00 p.m., was the date and time set for public hearing to amend the Zoning Code and Official Maps of the City of Edmonds by incorporating within and adding to said Official Maps the following described property, newly annexed, located in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington; to -wit, Beginning at the northeast corner of lot 6, block 3, Alderwood Manor #9, according to plat thereof recorded in vol 10 of plats, page 6, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence S 002213011W, along the east line of said lot 6 and the southerly projection thereof, 314.40 feet to the south margin of 216th St. S.W.; thence S 8901614811E, along the south margin of 216th St. S.W., 62.87 feet to the west margin of 82nd Ave. W.; thence S 002110011W, along the W margin of 82nd Ave. W., 302.30 feet to the NE corner of Lot 1, Oden's Addition, according to the plat thereof recorded in vol 14 of plats, page 90, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence N 89016148"W, along the north line of said Lot 1, 130.00 feet to the NW corner of said Lot 1; thence S 002014011W, along the west line of said plat of Oden's Addition, 193.46 feet; thence N 89021148" W., along a line parallel with and 140.00 feet north of the centerline of 218th St. S.W., a distance of 441.10 feet; thence N 002213011E, along a line parallel with and 160.00 feet east of the centerline of 84th Ave. W., a distance of 3460'40 feet; thence N 8901614811W, along a line parallel with and 180.00 feet south of the centerline of 216th St. S.W., a distance of 140.00 feet to the east margin of 84th Ave. W.; thence northerly, along the easterly margin of 84th Ave. W., to the north margin of 216th St. S.W.; thence S 8901614811E, along the north margin of 216th St. S.W., 225.00 feet; thence N 0022130"E, 259.21 feet to a point on the present boundary of the City of Edmonds; thence East, along said present boundary, 413.00 feet to the point of beginning; (containing 9.61 acres), situate in Snohomish County, Washington; AND WHEREAS, at the time and date fixed for said public hearing, it appeared that proper notice and publication had been effected; and WHEREAS, after due consideration of present existing use and surrounding neighborhood zoning, together with the understanding that said property will be used for an elementary school as part of Public School District 15, it appears that zoning classification P-1 is the most consistent with the proposed usage and develop- ment of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said City that Official Map "A" (designated the Comprehensive Plan) of the City of Edmonds be amended to incorporate the above legally described property, newly annexed, by adding thereto Engineer's Drawing No. k -3f ; and (cont'd) • Resolution No. 99 - Page_2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds that recommendation be made to the City Council of said (ity that the above described property, newly annexed, be zoned P-1, and that Official Map "B" (designated Zoning Map) of the City of Edmonds be amended by adding thereto and incorporating therein Engineer's Drawing No. DATED THIS day of April, 1964.
