Present: Debbie Dawson, Rick Hassen, Bretrand Hauss, Adrienne Fraley- Monillas, David Thorpe, Jim Underhill and Ron Wambolt. The meeting was called to order at 3:30 PM with the minutes from October 03, 2012 being approved. • Agenda items number 4 (public issues) and number 9 (time limit on disabled parking spaces) were combined and brought forth since Rick Hassen was present. Mr. Hassen brought to light that a disabled parking spot at 2nd and Main had no time limitations, which has resulted in car(s) parking for hours and in some cases days. The committee had asked Debbie Dawson to look into other Cities rules regarding disabled parking time limits. She provided hand outs showing what both Seattle and Everett have on their books and some State guidelines for how local jurisdictions can impose, by ordinance, time restrictions. Upon further discussion it was determined that Adrienne would look further into the restrictions that other Cities have and will bring the information back to the next meeting. • September saw only 99 tickets written in the City. • Brackett's Landing Parking will be tabled until the early spring. Bertrand is still waiting to hear from Maplewood Elementary about parking on and around 200t" Street SW. Haynes Wharf Parking. The results of the survey were 3 in favor, 2 against and 1 neutral. It was explained that there are Right of Way issues with this area, a long email from a local resident was being looked at by a City attorney and that Bertrand will have to hear back from the attorney to bring that information to the next meeting. 5t" and Pine add load/unload sign. This is pending to change the sign and restripe. Disabled parking space at 224 3rd Ave S. Committee never heard from the citizen. No action taken. Parking revisions along Railroad St. won't be done until spring when stripping can be done. It was decided that the new day to meet for the Parking Committee would be the first Monday of every month. e The Park Road survey is on -going. Under new business came Jim Underhill. He was approached to see if he would be interested to join the Committee. He is going to "sleep on it". Meeting was adjourned at 4:05 PM.
