WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds has annexed a portion of the
Olympic View Water Diatxict, commonly referred to as the
°Dellinger Area.. and
WHIRS S, said City and said District have negotiated a
proposed contract in accordance with the Laws of the State of
tsshingten for the assumption of the jurisdiction of said Dis-
trict's responsibilities. property, facilities and equipment
within said annexed area, and contiguous additions thereto, now,
therefore,

meet to Aasmue Jurisdiction of Water District Responsibilities,
Property. Facilities and Equipment within an Arai Annexed to the
City of Edmonds, Washington, the City of Edmonds doss hereby
assure said jurisdiction as set forth in said Agreement.
Setion I. The Mayor of the City of Edmonds is hereby
authorised to execute said Agreement with the Commissioners
of the Olympic View Water District, together with any neces-
sary instruments required in fulfilment of said AgreNsnt.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorised to issue
wrrants from the Water Department Fund in the sue of Nine
Thousand Dollars in accordance with the terms of said Agree-
ment.
