As stated in that decision, the fol owing is required: o! L Three replacement tree shall be planted on the subject property within one year of tree . removal. Two of the replacement trees shall be native trees (see Attachment 9 for "d examples), which shall be planted in the rear setback of the lot to provide habitat near the t pond. A replanting plan must be submitted prior to planting. In your letter of September 10, 1998, you propose to have a Dogwood, Weeping Dogwood, or Weeping Cherry at appproximately 50 feet to the rear property line, and two European White Birches at 32 feet and 24 feet to the rear property line. The type and location of one of these trees is your choice. However, the requirement listed above requires "native trees" planted in the "rear setback" (which in the RS -12 zone is the rear 25 feet of the lot) "to provide habitat near the pond." Only one tree is proposed in the rear setback, and it is not a native tree. The list provided gives three types of trees, and four types of Saplings/Shrubs, which would be appropriate plants to use in the rear 25 feet of your lot. One of those choices is a type of Dogwood, and if planted in the rear 25 feet of your lot, this would take care of one of your required trees. Please resubmit your planting plan, showing two native trees planted within the rear 25 feet of your lot. The third tree should also be shown, but its location and species is your choice. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on Monday, Tuesday (afternoon) or Thursday at (425) 771-0220. Sincerely, Meg ruwell Planner cc: File No. CUT -97-95 BURNS.=
