I General Contractof Geniral cantractur Supwintendeni Recerved Unchecked By Murohv Building Co, Bob Murnhv I At the request of Bob Murphy with Murphy Building Co- I Gome on site today to observe installation of footing drains for the homes being constnicted of) the subject lots. At the time of my site visit, the footing drain lines of 4-inch rigid perforated PVC pipes have mostly been laid along the perimetei, foundations of the buildings, except around the garage where footing drains are emitted. The geotechnical report for this project recornmended that footing drain lines be wrapped in non -woven filter fabric socks and completely ericlosed in clean 3/4 to 1-1/2 inch washed gravel or crushed rock, The footing drains are embedded in 318 to 1-1/2 inch washed gravel with a n(n-woven filter fabric liner covering the -top of----" the washed gravel fill. It is my opinion footing drains constructed in this manner are acceptable, too. The filter fabric should keep soil from migrating into the drain lines and there is little chance that the finer gravel would plug up the holes in the PVC pipe walls. It Is my opinion the footing drains are properly installed. oa ---- Z.- Continued 1) Sob Murphy/Murphy Building Co. 2) oq Next DAILY FIELD REPORT Job No 717117777. rae'no a.
