We have received a complaint that vegetation along your front property line is making it difficult for drivers attempting to enter the roadway from 8615 Olympic View Drive to see on -coming traffic. City of Edmonds staff has investigated the matter and determined that the vegetation in question does, in fact, create a line -of -sight hazard per Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC), Street Obstructions, Chapter 9.25 (copy enclosed. In order to reduce the hazard and enhance public safety, the City of Edmonds is requesting that you trim the hedge along your front property line in a manner that does not encroach upon the walkway and so it does not create a line -of -sight hazard. We also require that you trim the hedge to a maximum height of three feet from the southeast corner of your property easterly to the utility pole. Please complete the trimming by August 6, 2004.
