We regret that our initial site information was incorrect, how-
ever, we think this alteration to the road provides a desirable
solution. We are able to avoid the high rockeries that would
have been necessary if the approved preliminary plan were to
have been used. We restore the park -like topography with the
same amount of pavement as originally planned.
2. Further study of Building No 6 revealed that the "B" Plan
that was originally intended for this building was unsuitable
because it would require an extensive rockery retaining wall
along the east side, which would have been out of character with
the rest of the project. We decided to u.se the "D" Plan instead
because it is designed for that type of topography.
3. Building No. 5 was relocated 5'-0" to the north so that the
two 22" maples between units D1 and D2 could be retained.
4. Building No. 4 has been studied extensively. During design
development of this building, our further study of this portion
of the site indicated that a custom unit would be needed to be
built on the topography that was shown on the preliminary site
plan. We then obtained the revised topographical information
which indicated the custom unit was not needed. Our final site
plan shows Building No. 4 as the mirror image of the "D" Plan in
essentially the same location as originally planned.
5. The unit at the northeast corner of the property has been
moved approximately 25 feet north, due to the altered topogra-
phical information. This unit is not being designed at this time,
so our final site plan is an approximation of the drive leading
to the unit and the unit itself. As shown on our final drawing
it seems quite probable that two trees adjacent to this unit
(that were not included in our original tree information) will
need to be removed when this building is constructed.
6. Unit D2 of Building No. 3 has been moved 4 feet south to
pull it away from the hill to the north. A fir tree at the
northeast corner of this building will need to be removed due to
