Surface water will be directed to the on -site retention system , and released into a natural channel which runs westerly along the sites northern boundary. This channel releases into a natural wet + area (swamp) situated in the southern end of Pine Ridge Park, about 85' northeast of the site. { t , 3 Due to the incorporation of automobiles on the site, surface water can be expected to become contaminated with petroleum by-products .= prior to leaving this site. An oil separator incorporated within the �~ retention system can be expected to reduce pollutant levels. { <. (4), Flora {{ i a. Clearing activity, necessary for road installation, building S areas and associated parking will reduce numbers of flora present. I . This amounts to some .4 acres removed. i� c. Through landscaping, new species of flora may be introduced which are not native to the site. � (5) Fauna s a, C. d. The introduction of construction equipment and resultant { use for clearing necessary for proper grade transition, drainage, and } foundation stability will reduce habitat and lessen the desirability ;. (by site fauna) of the site as habitat. The introduction of domestic pets and human population (along with the previous activity) may } further hinder the re-establishment of native animal population. { Animals displaced from the site would eventually be eliminated I through competitive exclusion. Species that -can withstand the change of habitat or are suited to the new development would survive in reduced numbers. tr (6) Noise Noise levels would be intermittently high throughout construction, ; but should be limited to normal waking hours. After construction - residential activity and traffic noise created by approximately 80° average daily vehicular trips would increase ambient noise levels. This increase can be expected to have no signicant impact. (7) Light and Glare {. The introduction of streetlights, automobiles, home lighting, etc. will produce new light and add new reflective surfaces which produce �. glare.
