01379ff i Edmonds Planning Commission Meeting - 5/20/64 - Pape 2 When questioned about the water line, Mr. King stated that he had been advised that this property was served by the Alderwood Water District and that District told him they could not meter on an easement; therefore, there is a 1" water line and a meter to each house. Mr. Moran reported further that the property to the east has been platted with 10, dedicated to the City for street, and the City would like to continue the right-of- way here, as indicated on the proposed subdivision map. It was moved by Mr. Sater, seconded by Mr. Thompson, that the request for subdivision by Mr. William E. King, File No. S-22-64, be approved subject to his deeding to the City the east 10' of the property in question for road purposes and furnishing to the City a copy of the deed of 40' for utility easements. Plats Talbot Park Estates, Edward V. Hendryk, File No. P-2-64 Affidavits of publication and posting presented, along with note of notice to adjacent property owners, letter from City Engineer, and letter from the City Health Officer. A delegation of property owners from the area, including Mr. Tom Talbot, 8302 Talbot Park Road, Mr. Rich Nester, Lot 810 and Mr. Lowe, 8023 Cyprus Place, protested the plat as proposed, arguing that the original intent in platting Talbot Park was to have the canyon remain a thing of beauty; that it is a wild -life sanctuary and is the reason
