On behalf of the Engineering Division, I have reviewed the additional information submitted April 7,
2006. Please respond to the following:
1.A $50,000 site restoration bond will be required to be posted for this project as it is located in the Earth
Subsidence Landslide Hazard Area (ESLHA). You can obtain a bond through your bank (frozen fund) or
through a bonding company (performance bond). Please contact Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator to
provide you with the bond form of your choice.
Just a reminder that this has not yet been received by the City.

The detention system has been designed by a licensed engineer and calcs have been provided for

review. The calculations have been approved as submitted. The following plan corrections need
to be addressed:
Sheet C-1 - Provide TESC notes verbatim from the Edmonds Community Development Code
(ECDC) 18.30.050-Development Approval Standards for Erosion and Sedmentation Control
on the TESC Plan.
Sheet C-2 – Provide RIM elevations for the 24” access hatches to the vault.
Sheet C-2, Detention Vault detail– Provide invert elevations for the 6” orifice elbow and the
outfall.
Sheet C-3 – Have the engineer verify drainage is not required for the retaining wall proposed
along the north property line or show the location of the drain pipe and it’s point of connection
to the storm system. The drain pipe shall not tie into the storm detention system.
Include the specifications/details for the detention vault with the plans. The vault lid must be
rated for traffic loads.
