During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed:

1.The proposed rockery shown in the Site plan are required to be designed consistent with ECDC Chapter
23.80 (Including design calculations) and stamped by a Washington State Licensed Professional
Engineer. Please refer to the City of Edmonds Development Service Rockery handout #B63. (Permit
Requirements #3). You may obtain a copy of this handout by visiting the City of Edmonds website at
www.ci.edmonds.wa.us
and clicking on City Government, Development Services, Building Division and
scroll down to Handouts.

In other words, since the proposed rockeries are in a Critical Area they have to be design and
stamped by a Washington State Licensed Professional Engineer.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
