During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed:
1.The site plan submitted is not consistent with the site plan provided in the geotech report. Please provide a
site plan that accurately shows the location of the proposed retaining wall.
2.Erosion control measures are to be shown on the site plan.
This includes placement of a silt fence, per City standards, and possibly straw bales.

A note shall be placed on the plans stating “under no circumstances should runoff be allowed to flow
o
over the slope either during construction or after construction has been completed”.
It shall also be noted that disturbed areas are to be replanted with vegetation at the end of construction.
o
3.It is stated in the geotech report that the roof downspout line is tightlined to an outfall point on the slope
face. The drainpipe required for the new retaining wall and the downspout tightline are to be extended to the
slope bottom and armored with rockspalls. Show both of these drain lines and their outfall point on the site
plan.
4.Provide grading calculations for the excavation of the wall.
It is stated in the geotech report that the wall and reinforced fill footprint be over-excavated.

It is also stated that a temporary cut is required and the cut face will need to be sloped back for stability
o
and worker access.
Show the limits of the cut and over-excavation on the site plan and provide bottom of cut elevations for
o
each.
