Dear Mr. Miller:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it
was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
Critical Areas Checklist:
1. Since the proposed project involves disturbing the
ground in order to pour a new foundation, a Critical Areas Checklist must be
completed. The purpose of the checklist is to determine if there are any critical
areas on or adjacent to the site. Please submit the enclosed Critical Areas Checklist
to a Permit Coordinator along with the required $135 fee. Note that the property
owner must sign the checklist in order to authorize City staff to visit the site. If it is
determined that there are any critical areas on or adjacent to the site, a critical areas
study may be required as part of the submittal for the building permit application.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday
through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Note that our office will be
