It appears that you do not wish to apply for an accessory dwelling unit at this time. You will be
required to sign an affidavit stating that you understand an Accessory Dwelling Unit is not
approved for the subject property. The document is enclosed. Your signature must be notarized.
We have notary service available to you at the city at no charge. The document will be recorded
with Snohomish County. You will be charged a recording fee.
The Development Services Department is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to
