Attached is Handout #B41 entitled ‘Height Calculation Information’ which will assist in completion of the resubmittal. In order to satisfy the requirement, the following information is needed: 1) Establish a fixed datum point such as a manhole, fire hydrant or water meter that has a line-of-sight to the studio. If none exists, a corner of a patio or walkway may be used. In lieu of that, establish a poured concrete marker that has a line-of-sight to the studio. 2) Provide the surveyed elevation of the selected datum point. 3) Provide the surveyed elevations, at original grade, of the four corners of the height rectangle surrounding the studio. 4) Using the data collected, provide the average height, maximum height and actual height of the structure on both the site plan and elevation drawings, as appropriate. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; we are closed Wednesdays.
