If your grading is greater than 500-cyd please 10/31/2007 contact the Planning Division for SEPA determination. -Please contact the Planning Division for SEPA determination. The proposed grading quantities exceed 500 cu-yds; therefore, SEPA is required. 8/22/2007- 2.The existing sewer lateral is 4-in and in bad condition. Please show the new 6-in sewer lateral from the sewer main to the easement line and provide a 6-in sanitary sewer clean out at the easement 10/31/07 line. Install per E6.4 – Please show the required 6-in sewer lateral as previously requested. The sewer lateral is the line from the sewer main to the property/easement line. This line shall be 6-in in diameter. In addition, a 6-in cleanout with a 12-in locking cast-iron lid shall be installed at the easement line. Lateral installation is to be per City of Edmonds standard detail E6.4. 8/22/2007 3. - Please show a 4-in sidesewer from the easement line to the house. Provide a 4-in cleanout 2- 10/31/07 ft from the building. Install per E6.2. – The side sewer from the house to the easement line shall be a minimum of 4-in. 4.Provide slope and pipe specification for storm lines between yard drains and the detention system, and the dispersion trench and the detention system. In addition, please provide the invert elevation of the out- fall pipe at the dispersion trench. 5.Gravel areas shall be included in the impervious surface calculation. Gravel surfaces are impervious. 6.You are proposing a Type I catch basin in front of the garage. Why? If grass Crete is proposed for the driveway surface what is the logic behind the catch basin. Please explain or remove the catch basin. 7.The drainage plans show that the dispersion trench’s drainage sheet flow is to the west in the direction of the bluff and BNSF railroad tracks. Please have the Geotechnical Report address setbacks, soil stability, and potential impacts to the bluff and tracks from the dispersion trench. In addition, the Geotechnical DATE FAXED/E-MAILED 10/31/2007 Report needs to address the feasibility of grass Crete for the soils in this area indicating that grass Crete will function as intended.
